FUNNELWATCH / PAID-FUNNEL BRIEF

Ridge's bundle ad sends shoppers to a case-only selection

A current Ridge ad sells an iPhone 17 bundle with a case and magnetic power bank. The click opens on a $75 phone case instead, leaving the shopper to find and select the bundle for themselves.

What we checked for you

FunnelWatch reviewed five current Ridge ads and followed the on-domain iPhone 17 path used by the bundle creative. We checked the exact product opening state and the next safe purchase controls without entering personal information or placing an order.

One issue was strong enough to show you. The ad and page are both live, but they do not start the shopper with the same product.

The deepest validated step was the product selection. The page showed the phone model, color, current price, and the choice between a case and the case-plus-power-bank kit. A populated cart or checkout was not reached, so this report makes no claim about those later steps.

What happens after the click

Exact paid destination opening on the Ridge Phone Case for iPhone 17 Pro Max

What happened: The current creative says "The Ultimate iPhone 17 Bundle" and names both the case and magnetic power bank. Its recorded destination opens on "Ridge Phone Case - iPhone 17 Pro Max" at $75. "Phone Case" is the selected choice. The power-bank kit is another option lower in the product controls, not the product the shopper lands on.

Why this matters while the ad is running: A shopper who clicked for the complete bundle has to notice that the page changed the selection before adding anything. If they miss that small choice, they can continue with only the case. The page still works, but the paid promise is no longer the default buying state.

What to change first: Send this creative straight to the Everyday Charging Kit with the matching iPhone model and power-bank option already selected. If that cannot be done reliably, change the creative so it sells the phone case that the link actually opens.

What FunnelWatch would keep watching: The live creative, final destination, default phone model, selected case or kit, displayed price, and the item that reaches the cart. Any campaign or product-page edit that separates those states again should trigger a warning.

Why this keeps costing you

This is easy to miss because nothing is offline. The ad runs. The product page loads. The add-to-cart button is there. The leak sits in the default selection between those working parts.

Ridge's ads, product links, variants, prices, kit options, cart rules, and site releases can change on different schedules. A creative can keep selling a bundle after its link starts opening on a single item. Standard uptime checks will not catch that.

FunnelWatch keeps following the paid path and comparing what the ad sells with what the page preselects and what the cart receives. That gives your team a warning when a bundle becomes a case, a price changes, a variant drifts, or a working button starts adding the wrong item.

Put this iPhone 17 bundle path under continuous watch, then fix the destination so every paid shopper starts on the product the ad promised.
