Close's paid signup page kept a phone visitor waiting
Current ads send prospects straight to Close's AI sales agent trial. In our phone check, the full signup area took 17.4 seconds to appear. That is a long pause at the exact moment paid traffic is being asked to start.
Owner brief
We followed a current Close ad to its exact landing page, checked the page on desktop and mobile, and opened the public signup route without entering any information. One issue was strong enough to publish: the paid page loaded quickly on desktop, but the complete signup hero was far slower on a phone.
The paid click reaches the right offer, then the phone experience stalls
The full signup area took 17.4 seconds to appear in the mobile check
A current ad promotes Chloe as the agent that calls leads. It carries a "Sign up" button and sends clicks to Close's AI sales agent trial page.

The destination keeps that promise. It says the CRM calls leads and places a free-trial form in the hero. No credit card is required. The handoff itself is sound.

The problem appeared on a phone. The page began showing content after 4.8 seconds, but the complete hero containing the signup form did not appear until 17.4 seconds. The same hero appeared in 1.5 seconds in the desktop check.

A prospect who tapped a signup ad may spend most of that wait without the full action they came for. Some will assume the page is stuck and leave before the email field is ready.
Start with the mobile hero. Remove or delay the code and styles that hold it back, then retest the exact paid page until the free-trial form appears within the first few seconds.
FunnelWatch should keep checking this paid destination on phones and flag any release that pushes the signup hero past the agreed limit.
Scope of this audit
We checked a current public ad, its exact AI sales agent trial page on desktop and mobile, the opening state of the email signup form, and the linked pricing and demo pages. We did not enter an email, submit the form, create an account, book a demo, or test payment.
Why this is worth fixing now
The ad and page already agree on the product and the next step. The leak is the wait between them. Fixing the phone render protects the paid click without changing the campaign promise or rebuilding the offer.
Keep the paid signup path ready
Ad destinations, page code, signup forms, and third-party scripts change on different schedules. A phone slowdown can quietly waste clicks for days. FunnelWatch keeps following the live route and warns when the signup experience stops meeting the standard.
