Iterable's main demo buttons do not open a demo

A visitor can press "Book a demo" on Iterable's homepage and stay exactly where they started. That broken handoff can lose sales conversations from people who are ready to talk.

Owner brief

We checked Iterable's public homepage on desktop and mobile, then safely opened the separate sales route. One issue stood out: the homepage repeatedly invites visitors to book a demo, but those links point to a page section that is not there.

No current paid ad could be tied to an exact Iterable destination, so ad-to-page message match was not assessed.

The sales handoff breaks at "Book a demo"

The main demo action points nowhere

The homepage shows "Book a demo" three times. Each link points to #demo, but the page has no matching demo section. On both desktop and mobile, pressing the visible button only added #demo to the address. The page did not move and no demo form opened.

For a visitor who has decided to speak with sales, this feels like a dead button. Some will hunt for another route. Others will leave, taking a potential sales conversation with them.

Iterable desktop homepage with Book a demo controls

The same handoff fails on a phone, where "Book a demo" is the most prominent action in both the header and the hero.

Iterable mobile homepage with two visible Book a demo controls

Point all three links to the working sales page, or restore a real demo section on the homepage. Then test the action on desktop and mobile before the next site release.

FunnelWatch should keep checking each public demo control and alert when its destination disappears, stops opening, or no longer presents the expected sales form.

Scope of this audit

We checked the public homepage on desktop and mobile, pressed the demo action without entering any information, and opened the separate sales page to its form opening. We did not type an email, submit a form, book a meeting, create an account, or test any sales follow-up.

Why this is worth fixing now

The site already has a working sales page. This is a small repair at a high-intent moment: send the homepage buttons to that route, then keep the handoff under watch whenever the homepage or sales form changes.

Keep the sales path working

Homepage sections, navigation links, forms, and campaign pages change on different schedules. A demo button can break quietly and stay broken until someone happens to report it. FunnelWatch checks the live path and flags the handoff before more interested visitors hit the same dead end.
